The Baltic Media Group (BMG) is the latest big-name company to become a partner of the 2015 Gazprom Neft Cup - the biggest children’s hockey tournament in Europe, contested by children’s teams from KHL clubs’ academies.
The Baltic Media Group, as the largest media holding in north-western Russia, will provide a wide range of information technology support to the Group West stage of the competition, staged in Saint Petersburg. BMG will publish the latest tournament news on its website, BaltInfo.ru, and in printed media. The new partner will also assist in staging press conferences and will provide broadcast technology from its television channel, 100 TV, in transmissions of Group West games at the Saint Petersburg Ice Palace.
The standard is uniquely high for a children’s tournament - the opening and final games will be broadcast by the same television crew which covers all SKA home games in the KHL, and the professionalism of the channel has earned it numerous awards – it has even captured the KHL Broadcaster of the Year award for three of the League’s six completed seasons.
