1 April 2014, 17:08

Amur has announced that the club will not be renewing Evgeny Popikhin’s contract as head coach, citing the team’s unsatisfactory performance over the 2013-14 season. Popikhin’s assistant, Alexander Smirnov, and fitness coach Spyridon Mantzavrakos have also left the Khabarovsk club.

Alexander Blinov has once again been appointed interim head coach and will be assisted by Yury Fimin, coach of Amur’s YHL team.
