Kitov out, Titov in

Metallurg Novokuznetsk has fired head coach Alexander Kitov following the team’s nine-game losing streak. Kitov’s assistant, former Calgary, Pittsburgh, Edmonton and Anaheim center German Titov, has been appointed as the new head coach.

Kitov is the fourth head coach in the KHL to lose his job this season.
