To mark the end of the tenth week’s play of the championship, The Kontinental Hockey League has named the best players of the week in four categories.

– Best goaltender of the week was Semyon Varlamov of Lokomotiv, who recorded two victories in two games, including one shutout. Varlamov allowed just one goal and saved 96.83% of the shots he faced;

– Best defenseman was Marek Troncinsky (Yugra), who in three appearances scored two goals, both game-winners, added one assist and earned an efficiency rating for the week of +2;

– Best attacker was Alexander Radulov (CSKA), who in three outings added 3 goals and 2 assists to his account;

– Best rookie was Barys forward Mikhail Rakhmanov, who scored two goals in two games.
