Slovan wins Euro derby

3 November 2012, 23:53

The KHL's first ever Czech-Slovak derby clash went the way of Slovan Bratislava in front of a near-capacity crowd in Prague. Almost 13,000 fans came to Lev's Tipsport Arena, but it was the visitors who had more to cheer. Roman Kukumberg put Slovan head in the last seconds of the opening period, and Michal Vondrka doubled the lead in the 26th minute. Lev pulled one back through Jakub Voracek, but could not escape defeat.
