The official Dinamo Minsk website announced on Friday that the club convened an extraordinary general meeting of the Supervisory Board, at which it was decided to relieve head coach Kari Heikkila of his duties, due to the unsatisfactory performances from the team this season.

Alexander Andriyevsky has been appointed as acting head coach, with Evgeny Popikhin as his assistant. A final decision on a permanent head coach will be taken during the November break in the KHL Championship.
