Today the ESPN3 Internet channel broadcasts the first of its planned series of games from the Kontinental Hockey League Championship, following the agreement reached with the League last week.
Viewers will be treated to live coverage of the game in Prague between Lev Praha and Dynamo Moscow, and the commentary team will be well-known ESPN SportsCenter anchor Steve Levy and popular analyst Barry Melrose, famous to fans Russia and around the world as the coach who led the Los Angeles Kings to the 1992-93 Stanley Cup final.
Lev vs. Dynamo will also be shown live on the ESPN2 cable channel, with delayed coverage on ESPN2 and ESPN UK in Great Britain.
ESPN also plans to show live broadcasts of the following KHL games in October:
14 October: Dynamo Moscow vs. Amur Khabarovsk
16 October: Dynamo Moscow vs. Sibir Novosibirsk
18 October: SKA Saint Petersburg vs. Sibir Novosibirsk
