To mark the climax of the season, the final series of the play-offs for the Gagarin Cup, the Kontinental Hockey League has named the best players of the final series in three categories, and all three awards go to players from the newly-crowned KHL champion, Dynamo Moscow.

Best goaltender of the final series was Alexander Yeryomenko, who kept Avangard off the scoreboard in one game, allowed an average of 1.44 goals per game and achieved a save percentage of 94.85;

Best defenseman was Ilya Gorokhov, who provided the assist for one goal, merited an overall rating of +3 and spent a total of 160 minutes and 53 seconds on the ice;

Best attacker was Konstantin Gorovikov, who scored one goal, assisted on four more and clocked up 130 minutes 51 seconds of playing time – more than any other forward in the Gagarin Cup final series.
