On the 14th of March the Kontinental Hockey League’s office hosted a meeting between the heads of several KHL departments and representatives of the disabled people’s association, Ark of Vladivostok. The meeting discussed a range of challenges facing disabled people in society, particularly when visiting and participating in sporting events. One of the outcomes of the highly fruitful discussions was an agreement to make amendments and improvements to the Kontinental Hockey League regulations so that they take the wishes of the disabled into account and promote measures to make visiting games in the KHL championship a much more comfortable experience for those with disabilities.
