During the game of Friday, the 17th of February, in Chekhov between Vityaz and Atlant there were a number of incidents in which players came to blows. At its meeting the KHL Disciplinary Committee studied the relevant episodes, assessed the actions of the participants and imposed the corresponding disciplinary measures.

- Time of play - 48:08. Vityaz forwards Kip Brennan, Jon Mirasty and Nick Tarnasky were all handed a major plus game misconduct penalty (5+20 minutes), in each case for being the aggressor in a brawl. The regulations regarding this violation stipulate an additional punishment of a ban of three games. As each of the aforementioned players has previously incurred disciplinary measures, the rules regarding repeat offenders call for a further suspension of two games. Therefore, Kip Brennan, Jon Mirasty and Nick Tarnasky must each miss a total of five games.

- Time of play - 58:00. Vityaz forward Alexander Fedoseyev received a major plus game misconduct penalty (5+20 minutes) for being the aggressor in a brawl. He therefore receives a three-game ban, and also incurs the corresponding two-game ban as a repeat offender. Alexander Fedoseyev is therefore suspended for a total of five games.

- Time of play - 58:00. Vityaz forward Jeremy Yablonski was next to be penalized, earning a game misconduct penalty (20 minutes) for continuing an altercation having been ordered to stop by the officials.
