The KHL Disciplinary Committee has reviewed episodes from two of the games played on the 15th of January.

In the 12th minute of the CSKA vs. Salavat Yulaev game the Ufa forward Alexander Radulov was handed a minor penalty for dirty play, but after examining the incident the Committee decided to upgrade the punishment to a minor plus misconduct penalty (2+10 minutes) for an attack to the head or neck area.

In the 51st minute of the game between Lev and Ak Bars the Kazan forward Evgeny Skachkov used his stick to strike the hosts’ defenseman Vladimir Mihalik. The Committee’s recommendation to the Refereeing Department is to deem this incident as use of the stick with intent to cause injury (see clip below), for which the Skachkov should receive a major plus game misconduct penalty (5+20 minutes) and face additional punishment in accordance with the regulations.
