Following the game between Ak Bars and Salavat Yulaev, played in Kazan on the 11th of December, Ufa defenseman Vitaly Proshkin made a number of public comments criticizing the standard of refereeing in the League.

The KHL studied video footage of the game in great detail but was unable to find any evidence of the refereeing errors referred to by the player.

Taking into consideration the fact that Salavat Yulaev did not submit any queries regarding the performance of the officials, and that Vitaly Proshkin has previously been caution on the impermissibility comment publicly on the refereeing in such a manner, the club is fined 50,000 rubles in according with the KHL’s disciplinary regulations.
