The time has come!

On the 17th of December this year, right in the very heart of Riga, facing the Laima Clock on Kalku iela, a countdown clock will be erected which will display the time remaining until the opening face-off of the KHL All-Star Game 2012.

The official opening begins at 13.00, and taking part will be Mayor of Riga Nil Ushakov, and KHL vice-president, three-time world champion, Olympic champion, and Stanley Cup winner Valery Kamensky, the head of the KHL players’ union Andrei Kovalenko, plus the captain of both Dinamo Riga and of the Western Conference team at the KHL All-Star Game Sandis Ozolins, and Latvian hockey legend and Legends Game captain Helmuts Balderis.

All those attending the opening will receive commemorative souvenirs, and will also have the chance to purchase tickets for the KHL All-Star Game 2012 at a special discount rate.
