With the completion of the second round of the Gagarin Cup, the KHL has named those players who were the best of the Conferences semi-finals in four categories.
- The title of best goaltender is awarded to Ivan Kasutin (Neftekhimik). - The title of best defenseman is awarded to Dmitry Kalinin (Salavat Yulaev). In his six games he scored one goal, supplied the decisive pass for another, and achieved an efficiency rating of +4. Indeed, Kalinin played in every game of the series without receiving a single negative rating.
- The title of best attacker is awarded to Alexei Mikhnov (Lokomotiv, pictured). The Yaroslavl club’s forward featured in six games, scoring four goals (including one game-winner), making five assists and earning a rating of +7.
