Avangard’s Karri Ramo (pictured) was the best goalkeeper of week seven, managing an impressive 138 minutes 37 seconds without conceding in his three games. The Finn kept two consecutive clean sheets, against CSKA and Torpedo, saving 97.5 per cent of the shots he faced. Only Vityaz found a way past him all week, in Sunday’s 2-1 win.
The top defender was Kevin Dallman of Barys Astana. He scored once and provided four assists during the Kazakh side’s three games, ending with a co-efficient of +3.
A match-winning performance against Severstal on Sunday made Josef Vasicek the best forward of the week. Two of his three goals proved to be game winners, and he added an assist for Lokomotiv.
Avtomobilist Yekaterinburg have found their debut season tough going, but 19-year-old Alexander Streltsov looks like a bright prospect for the future. He won the rookie of the week prize, scoring once and gaining a +2 co-efficient.
