Medvescak staged a thrilling recovery to see off Slovan in Sunday's only game.
It seemed that the Slovak visitor was on course for a comfortable win after it powered into a 4-0 lead inside 26 minutes; former Medvescak man Matt Murley found the net twice to quieten down the home fans.
But the crowd went from subdued to swaggering as Medvescak came roaring back. Two goals in the 30th minute saw Bill Thomas and Mike Glumac halve the deficit, and Andrew Murray made it a one-goal game before the second intermission.
With the momentum decisively shifted in the host's favor the final session saw Edwin Hedberg tie it up before Pascal Pelletier got the game winner in the 51st minute.
