Another Mozyakin milestone. November 27 round-up

The KHL’s all-time leading scoring, Sergei Mozyakin, posted his 500th point in Metallurg Magnitogorsk’s 4-2 win at Lada. The big moment came 33 seconds into the middle session when Mozyakin scored a power play goal off a Jan Kovar pass, cancelling out Alexander Streltsov’s first-period opener. Denis Platonov put Magnitka ahead soon after before Mozyakin added #501 to his tally in similar circumstances to his earlier goal; this time Chris Lee supplied the ammunition and the forward stretch the lead to 3-1. Vasily Streltsov cut the deficit almost immediately but Lada could not find a way through in the third and Tim Brent scored his team’s third power play goal of the night in the last minute to complete the scoring. SKA hits form again  SKA snapped a three-game losing streak with an emphatic 6-2 win over Metallurg Novokuznetsk.
